Hong Kong Stock Account – Fund Deposit and Withdrawal

Notes
All securities transaction traded with a cash securities account are settled in cash with no financing facility to be granted. The unsettled balance should be cleared on or before the second business day after the transaction date (T+2). Chief Securities assumes full right to charge interest on overdue balance at General Bank Prime Rate + 5%.
Clients can trade through margin financing and the margin financing limit is determined according to the value of their portfolio of stock holding or the agreed margin limit. (The lower limit will prevail).
Deposit

Bank Deposit:
Clients can deposit via designated banks before 5:00 pm on each business day and fax the deposit slips to our Customer Services Department (cs@chiefgroup.com) at 8147 2612 for confirmation, clients should indicate their account number and account name on the deposit slip.

Bill Payment:
Clients can make payment through HSBC or Hang Seng Bank e-banking, phone banking and ATM bill payment service. Choose “Chief Securities Limited” as your payee and input your 8-digit account number as your Payment Reference Number. Payment made before 5:00 pm on trading day will be updated to your securities trading A/C within 30 minutes. (Detail)

Self-service Cheque Deposit Service:
Visit HSBC “Cash Deposit Machine”/ Hang Seng Bank “Quick Cheque Deposit”. Insert cheque and input Chief designated bank account number & the total deposit amount. After that, please key in the Customer Reference, i.e. the combination of Account Type and 4-8 Digit Account Number.

Attention For using Hang Seng Bank “Quick Cheque Deposit” service, the customer reference must be input in order to complete the entire deposit procedure,

If client is unable to provide a valid “Customer reference”, please keep the advice slip and call the Funds Deposit& Withdrawal Hotline 2500 9180.

PPS:
Clients can make payment through PPS via phone 18031 or visit www.ppshk.com. Choose “Chief Securities Limited” (Merchant Code 9680) as your payee and input your 8-digit account number as your Payment Reference Number. Payment made before 7:00 pm on trading day will be updated to your securities trading A/C in next trading day.

Payment in Person:
Client can visit any one of our branches or our settlement department at head office for cheque deposit before 4:00 pm on each business day.

Withdrawal

For the clients registered Chong Hing Bank, HSBC, Hang Seng Bank or Bank of China as their designated bank, you may make the Funds Withdrawal instruction by means of: calling our Funds Deposit & Withdrawal Hotline 2500 9180, contacting any of our branches, or using the function "Funds Deposit & Withdrawal" in "Fortune Maker" before 1:00 pm in every trading day. All funds will be deposited into your designated bank account in the form of intraday transfer. For the clients registered other banks for funds deposit, your fund will be deposited in the form of a crossed cheque or clients may choose to pick up the cheque in person at head office.

* Withdrawal instructions received after 1:00 pm will be processed on the next trading day.

Internet trading system users can directly input their fund deposit and withdrawal instructions through our “Fortune Maker” system.

US Stock Account - Fund Deposit and Withdrawal
Account Type Margin Account for US stock (CL a/c)
Note
US stock margin account is specially designed for day trading purpose. There are no loan facilities available. Prior to each order, clients are required to deposit enough funds in the account.
Deposit

Bank Deposit:
Clients can deposit via designated banks before 10:00 pm(HK time) on each business day and fax the deposit slips to our Customer Services Department (cs@chiefgroup.com) at 8147 2612 for confirmation, clients should indicate their account number and account name on the deposit slip, and state deposit to the US stock account.

Bill Payment:
Clients can make payment through HSBC or Hang Seng Bank e-banking, phone banking and ATM bill payment service before 10:00 am (HK time). Choose “Chief Securities Limited” as your payee and input your 8-digit account number as your Payment Reference Number, and call the Funds Deposit & Withdrawal Hotline 2500 9180 to further credit to the US stock account.

PPS:
Clients can make payment through PPS via hotline 18031 or visit www.ppshk.com. Choose “Chief Securities Limited” (Merchant Code 9680) as your payee, and input your 8-digit account number as your Payment Reference Number. Please choose the bill type 5- US Stock Account. Payment made before 7:00 pm on trading day will be updated to your US stock account in next trading day.

Payment in person:
Client can visit our any branches or head office for cheque deposit before 10:00 am(HK time) on each business day, and indicate to deposit into US stock account.

Internal fund transfer:
Clients can call the Funds Deposit & Withdrawal Hotline 2500 9180 before 10:00am(HK time) for internal fund transfer.

Withdrawal

Clients may contact our branches or our Customer Service Department for fund withdrawal trading day (T+3) before 1:00 pm. Withdrawal instructions received after 1:00 pm will be processed on the next trading day. All funds will be deposited to your designated bank account in form of crossed cheque or clients may choose to pick up the cheque in person at head office.
