“Fortune Maker” main features
HK stocks trading, transaction enquiry, quotation, account enquiry and notification of fund deposit & withdrawal

| Upgrade Instruction |
|
|
|
1) Download the latest version of fortune maker.exe and install the program.
2) Select proper language and press "OK" button.
3) Select "Repair" and press "Next" button to continue upgrade procedure.
4) Press "Finish" button, and the upgrade procedure is finished.
Start Fortune Maker
1) A "fortun maker" short-cut will be created on the desktop after installation. Please press the short-cut to start fortune maker.
Login Fortune Maker
1) Before login to fortune maker, please press the  button to check the network setting.
2) The default setting of server section is "abc.chiefgroup.com.hk", (For those users who registered in Mongkok, Kwun Tong, Mei Foo, Tai Wai and Yuen Long branches, please change the server to "fmmk.chiefgroup.com.hk"), port number 443, and press "OK" to save the setting.
 
3) Please enter the account number, password, key, and press "login" button.

Enable real-time price quote clicking in Fortune Maker (Windows Vista)
Internet Explorer 7 has increased the security level of browser and browser related applications. This blocks real-time price quote that feeds price information to the "Order Entry" screen when clicking it in fortune maker. Please follow the steps below in order to enable the real-time price quote clicking. |

Open "Internet Option" screen in Internet Explorer 7
From Internet Explorer 7's pulldown menu, select "Tools" -> "Internet Options"
|

|
|
|
Click on "Security" tab, and click "Custom level..." button
|
|
|
|
|
Under "Scripting" section, look for a setting called "Allow status bar updates via script"
Select "Enable" and press "OK" to save it
|
|

- If you do not have access rights to the above screens, you need to login as a local administrator of your computer.
