Bring along the following documents and come to our head office or branches in person and fill in the account opening form:

1. Personal identification document (e.g. Hong Kong Identity Card or passport) of the account holder(s)
2. Address proof dated within the latest three months e.g. bills from public utilities, bank statement (e.g. bill issued by public utilities, bank statement etc.)
3. Account proof issued by local banks (e.g. bank statement, passbook or bank card with printed full name and bank account number).

Client opened securities account, can place orders after depositing sufficient amount. For futures or options account, client can place orders after depositing sufficient amount of margin.

The online trading account will be opened in 30 minutes* earliest upon the receipt of application and documents required (if applicable).

*It will take about 30 minutes to complete the application process if you meet the criteria and submit the documents required before 14:00. The turnaround time of each application and approval may vary, CHIEF reserves the right to request the applicant to submit the supporting documents for the approval.

1. Board minutes approving opening of account and authorized persons;
2. Certified copy of Certificate of Incorporation;
3. Certified copy of valid Business Registration;
4. Certified copy of Memorandum & Articles of Associations;
5. Certified copies of personal identification document of directors and the authorized persons；
6. Certified copy of the latest audited financial report;
7. Certified true copy of a company search report certified by a company registry (or similar for company incorporated overseas) or professional third party (certified true copy of a certificate of incumbency), which the report should have been issued within the last 6 months;
8. Certified copies of personal identification document with signature and residential address proof dated within the last three months (e.g. bill issued by public utilities, bank statement) of all directors and shareholders holding 10% or more of the voting rights or share capital;
9. Corporate’s account proof issued by local banks (e.g. bank statement, passbook or bank card with printed full name and bank account number).

Client opened securities account, can place orders after depositing sufficient amount. For futures or options account, client can place orders after depositing sufficient amount of margin.

For internet trading account, after the account is approved, client will receive the login and confirmed password within 3 working days the earliest.

6. CHIEF's staff will call within a week for account confirmation

# The witnessing (or verifying) professional must be a registered person, a Justice of Peace, or a professional person (e.g. registered accountant, lawyer). If there is no witness to sign and approve the account opening form, applicants can enclose the account opening form together with the copy of personal identification document (e.g. Hong Kong Identity Card or passport), address proof and a bank cheque mail to Chief. The cheque must be:

• Bearing your name identical to your identity documents and your signature identical to the signature shown on the account opening form
• Issued by a Hong Kong licensed bank
• The sum not less than HK$10,000
• For Securities and Futures account made payable to Chief Securities Ltd
• Cheque will be credited to your trading account after clearing
