Recently, we have discovered that fraudsters are persistently impersonating our company (**Chief Securities**) or our staff to conduct fraudulent activities via social media, communication software, and online platforms. To protect your funds and legal rights, please remain highly vigilant.
1. Licensed Status
Chief Securities Limited is a licensed corporation approved by the Securities and Futures Commission (SFC) of Hong Kong. We hold licenses for Type 1, 2, 4, 5, 7, and 9 regulated activities. All our business operations strictly comply with the *Securities and Futures Ordinance*.
2. Official Applications and Account Opening Channels
- Official App: The previous version is "Chief Trader" (致富通), and the new version is "Chief Trade" (致富證券).
- Account Opening Process: All account opening applications can only be conducted through our company’s official website or official applications.
- Strict Declaration: Our company never commissions any third-party agencies to handle account openings or receive account opening documents on our behalf.
3. Commitment to Fund and Data Security
Please Note! Chief Securities and its staff will NEVER in any form:
- Proactively call to request sensitive personal data (e.g., login passwords, bank card information).
- Request clients to transfer funds into any private accounts or non-official third-party accounts.
4. Common Fraud Tactics (Please Be Vigilant)
Fraudsters typically employ the following methods:
- Website/App Spoofing:Creating fake Chief Securities websites or apps using similar domain names to induce users to log in or download software.
- Staff Impersonation: Pretending to be Chief Securities employees and proactively contacting clients via phone or messaging apps (e.g., WhatsApp, WeChat).
- Fake Investment Groups: Luring clients into "Investment Exchange Groups" or "Internal Trading Groups" to illegally recommend stocks.
- False Inducements: Using terms like "Original Shares," "Internal Options," or "High Returns" to induce clients to open accounts or transfer money.
- Illegal Transfer Requests: Falsely using the Chief name to demand clients transfer funds to third-party private accounts.
5. To Protect Your Assets, Please Take the Following Actions:
- Do Not Click Suspicious Links: Immediately ignore any links, app downloads, or login prompts coming from unofficial channels.
- Do Not Reveal Sensitive Information: Never disclose your bank/credit card details, investment account passwords, or MPF information to anyone.
- Verify Official Channels: If you are suspicious of any message, please verify it immediately through the official channels listed below.
